Entry, Mid LevelMaster Boat Builders, Inc. is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Designer responsible for creating technical drawings and models for vessel's mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves designing shipboard systems, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance while managing documentation.

Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, review and/or design shipboard system drawings, including:
Mechanical: Piping (e.g. fuel, bilge, ballast, cooling water, etc.), HVAC, and hydraulic systems
Electrical: Power generation, power distribution, control systems, wireways and transits
Electronic: Navigation, communication, and monitoring systems
Work closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration and resolve spatial and technical conflicts
Create production drawings and work packages that detail how the vessel's components will be manufactured and assembled
Guarantee all designs adhere to all applicable Regulatory requirements (primarily ABS, and United States Coast Guard)
Create Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and other technical documentation for new construction projects
Receive, organize, and distribute (as needed) vendor furnished information (VFI)
Qualification
Required
An associate's or bachelor's degree in marine, mechanical, or electrical engineering is highly desired but can be substituted with proven experience
Full proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, AutoCAD and Navisworks is required
Preferred
Skills in other software packages such as Rhino, Creo, ShipConstructor, etc. is a plus
