The City University of New York is seeking a dynamic scholar for a tenure-track faculty position in the Political Science Department. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate classes in International Relations and/or Comparative Politics while also serving as the Academic Director of the Master’s Program in International Affairs, providing leadership and overseeing various programmatic responsibilities.

Serve as Academic Director of the MIA program providing visionary academic leadership and strategic vision

Oversee curricular development, scheduling, admissions oversight, student advisement, and external relations for the program

Required

Ph.D. degree in Political Science or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent

Preferred

An outstanding track record of academic research and teaching experience in the field of International Relations or Comparative Politics

Experience and/or demonstrable potential in leading an academic program

Experience or interest in fundraising for the program is also valued
