Responsibilities
Develop software tools for atmospheric science data processing
Collaborate with NASA scientists to prepare data for publications
Support scientific presentations at conferences and workshops
Optimize code for high-performance computing environments
Qualification
Required
2+ years of scientific programming experience
Proficiency with FORTRAN, Python, C++, or similar languages
Familiarity with Git, shell scripting, and parallel computing desirable
Strong background in Earth or atmospheric sciences preferred
Bachelor's Degree
U.S. Citizenship
Preferred
M.S. in atmospheric science, oceanography, physical science, mathematics, or computational science, or
B.S. degree in one of the listed disciplines, plus three years of experience relevant to the position
