Responsibilities
Lead the company's long-range strategic financial planning process
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate and execute on strategic initiatives, including new product launches, and market expansion
Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Product Leadership and other senior leaders across the organization, providing financial insights, and supporting their decision-making
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial models for strategic initiatives to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Build and maintain complex financial models to support business case analysis, and long range scenario planning
Implement a product P&L reporting process to assess performance, identify profitability drivers, and support product lifecycle decisions on an ongoing basis
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to inform financial strategy and business planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking. Media industry experience is strongly preferred
Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of corporate finance principles
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership
Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing and developing team members
Proficiency with financial systems (SAP Analytics Cloud strongly preferred) and advanced Excel PowerPoint and Google Suite skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Media industry experience is strongly preferred
