Responsibilities

You will perform all mammography, needle localization, ductograms and Stereotactic breast biopsy procedures
You will assist physicians and radiologist during procedures requiring sterile technique
You will assists in maintaining quality control program
You will assess patient’s condition prior to and during all procedures
You are responsible for safe handling of equipment and films
You will instruct and prepare patients for all mammography procedures
You will process x-ray film and maintains all processor quality assurance daily
You will practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures
You will maintain mammographic records and reports

Required

One year experience as a Mammography Technologist
Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the American Medical Association
Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Mammography (ARRT (M))
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
