Qualification
Required
Surgical Technologist: graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
If LPN in surgical Technologist role: Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Surgical Technologist: Current BCLS certification. For individuals hired after August 1, 2007, certification is to be obtained within one year of date of hire
LPN in Surgical Technologist role: current BCLS certification and current NC license
For individuals hired after August 1, 2007, certification is to be obtained within one year of date of hire
Surgical Technologist: clinical experience in training program
LPN in Surgical Technologist role: one-year experience in a Surgical Technologist role in an applicable acute care operating room setting or clinical experience in Surgical Technologist training program
