Sr. Electrical Engineer
UIC Commercial Services is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join their team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems, while ensuring effective engineering support and workforce training.

Responsibilities
Responsible for directing system engineering of electronic warfare systems
Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective engineering support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped
Qualification
Required
A BA/S is required in Electrical Engineering
Ten (10) years experience in electromagnetic system design, analysis and test with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power, RF, Laser, and CIED systems and components
Demonstrated skills to design and develop specialized electronics
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
Preferred
Prior experience with legacy Electronic Warfare Systems
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
