Overnight Laundry Attendant/Front Office Floater

The Overnight Laundry Attendant/Front Office Floater is responsible for laundry procedures, guest service, vehicle assistance, safety compliance, and self-management to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Cleanliness: Responsible for completing all laundry procedures; sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, inspect, transport, organize all hotel linens; operate, clean and maintain equipment; safely use chemicals to ensure sanitation standards are met. Ensures cart, linen, rooms, work areas and equipment are clean, stocked and in working order
Guest Service: Accountable for guest satisfaction as it pertains to housekeeping service at the property. Assists and responds to requests in a positive and timely manner while providing the highest level of quality service to the guest. Works as a team player in meeting guests and department needs and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments as necessary. Understands and follows Crowne Plaza guest service recovery program
Vehicles: Responsible for providing the highest level of service by assisting guests with their luggage needs, providing transportation and information on daily functions, hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services. Fill out all required logs and complete safety checks of the vehicles. Ensure there is gas in the vehicle and that it is clean and presentable by picking up trash
Safety/Risk Management: Ensures a clean and safe work area in compliance with B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group brand, local, state and federal regulations. Inspects work area and equipment for maintenance needs and reports any maintenance service issues. Knowledgeable on safe use of chemicals utilized within the housekeeping department. Follows all B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures for guest/team member’s incidents. Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures
Self-Management: Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties. Adheres to B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures. Attends all required department and hotel meetings. Responsible for proper use of all equipment and supplies

Required

Current and valid drivers' license with safe driving record required
Must have appropriate class of driver's license based on hotel vehicle requirements
Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age for insurance purposes
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis throughout shift
Significant bending required

Preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred
Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in repetitious and fast paced environment
