Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end quality oversight and continuous improvement at all stages of the manufacturing process, from PCBA/SMT and mechanical assembly to final server-level production
Partner with our global contract manufacturers and joint-development partners to define and enforce quality assurance procedures, conduct supplier audits, and lead root cause analysis to drive performance improvements
Own the integrity of manufacturing data feeds to create real-time quality dashboards and alerts
Collaborate closely with Hardware Design and Supply Chain teams to validate new product hardware, guide failure analysis on early issues, and ensure seamless, high-quality product introductions at scale
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in PCBA/SMT, mechanical assembly, or server-level manufacturing, with a strong understanding of components like PCBs, PSUs, and high-density flash drive assemblies
Proficiency in supplier quality methods, including 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA, and a solid understanding of IPC standards and ISO compliance
A proven ability to analyze complex manufacturing data and quality KPIs to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
Strong cross-functional communication, documentation, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners
