They are offering paid summer internships in their Landscape Division, where students will engage in a variety of real-world tasks to support project management and gain valuable insights into heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

Perform job site administration and documentation (under supervision)

Assist in developing and maintaining a Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule

Track 1 or more of the following: submittals, RFI’s and contract change orders, daily cost vs. project budget, quantities and equipment and project logs

Attend bid review meetings with estimating team to understand the estimate process

Review proposal specifications, drawings, soils reports and existing site conditions to determine scope of work

Complete material and quantity take offs according to project scope of work

Assist superintendent and foreman with layout and other technical requirements

Assist with diesel emissions control plans and monitoring

Preparation of work plans and or storm water protection plans

Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

Students must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in one of the following areas or very similar area: Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Construction, Landscape Design, Landscape Horticulture, Ornamental Horticulture
