Responsibilities

Provide project management; managing accuracy, budgets, quality, safety, reporting, schedule, and client expectations
Act as a technical resource for environmental/civil engineering projects
Lead multi-discipline engineering design teams for environmental/civil-related projects
Client business development and networking
Execute proposal and cost estimating efforts for environmental/civil engineering projects
Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence
Enforce compliance with company and site safety policies
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program
Experience executing and selling civil/environmental design-build projects
Minimum 7 years of related professional experience
Strong commitments to safety, quality and attention to detail are a must
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions and develop solutions under challenging conditions and circumstances
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and present technical information
Knowledge of industry safety and environmental regulations
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team framework
Up to 25% travel may be required for this position

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited program
10 years of related professional experience
Experience managing coal combustion residual (CCR) projects, including Facility Evaluation Reports, civil closure designs, etc. is a plus
Experience in the design and management of mine reclamation, stream restoration, etc., projects is a plus
Experience managing environmental multi-disciplinary Design Build projects is a plus
Experience working with international resources preferred
Experience working with automating design practices is preferred
