Engineering Intern, Summer 2026
West Fraser is a diversified wood products company seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will work closely with various engineers and superintendents to address real-life challenges and contribute to the company's reliability program while gaining professional exposure.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the site Reliability Engineer, Region Electrical Engineer, Sawmill Superintendent, Maintenance Superintendent, Millwrights, Electricians and vendors to drive out repeat failures and implement all aspects of West Fraser’s reliability program
Qualification
Required
Graduate no later than December 2027 with a degree in Electrical Engineering
GPA of 2.75 or higher overall
Desire to perform hands-on work to equipment
Willing and able to perform a variety of tasks
Ability to successfully communicate daily with different levels of roles
