Responsibilities
Provide in-home nursing care to adults and children with medically complex conditions
Ventilator monitoring and care
Tracheostomy care
Use and care of feeding tubes
Administration of medications
Assisting with general exercise and specific physical therapy regimens
Family teaching and support
Exercise and physical therapy needs
Medical procedures they can do at home
Methods of carrying out daily living activities
Qualification
Required
Current LPN License in the state of VT, or capability to obtain VT LPN license
Minimum two or more years of directly related home/public health, hospice and/or high tech nursing experience
Preferred
Experience with ventilator monitoring and care
Experience with tracheostomy care
Experience with use and care of feeding tubes
Experience with administration of medications
Experience with assisting with general exercise and specific physical therapy regimens
Experience with family teaching and support
Experience with medical procedures they can do at home
Experience with methods of carrying out daily living activities
