Responsibilities

Overseeing the development, design, and execution of all aspects of a comprehensive and on-going philanthropy program with an emphasis on major gifts

Designing, implementing and sustaining a successful fund-raising program, including individual and major gifts, planned giving, endowments, donor upgrading, corporate and foundation gifts, special event sponsorships and enhancing community awareness the Foundation with specific emphasis on assigned hospitals and/or Institutes

Soliciting donations and cultivating relationships with donors in order to develop, secure, upgrade and maintain major and principal gifts for the present and long term financial support of the system

Required

Bachelors degree is required

Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a successful foundation major gifts program, fund-raising or marketing/sales leadership

Experience in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and providing stewardship for major gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations

Experience in managing major components of effective development program and proven manager of fundraising teams

Preferred

Master degree is preferred
