Responsibilities

Review and understand a wide variety of large and complex customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality assurance requirements and translate that into design, procurement, qualification and testing documents
Ensure compliance with customer purchasing requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards & regulations. Determine design approaches and parameters for testing and qualifying equipment and systems. Anticipate and mitigate potential failure modes to improve probability of successful results
Facilitate factory acceptance tests, document and evaluate results of a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical components and systems
Work collaboratively with all team members to achieve project objectives including safety, quality and customer schedule
Maintain effective customer & vendor communications, ensuring that all requirements and expectations are addressed effectively
Provide technical input on the generation of proposals for programs
Efficiently and effectively work towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints
Address and resolve project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost, customer interface and other project related activities
Work safely in accordance with company policy at all times

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
2+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry, nuclear preferred
Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills

Preferred

Experience with power distribution equipment including Switchgear, Switchboards and Motor Control Centers preferred
