Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support vehicles

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues

Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or other service needs and communicate issues to supervisors

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and work orders in accordance with company procedures

Use diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues and complete necessary repairs

Replace and repair parts such as bearings, brakes, hoses, seals, and other mechanical components

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies

Support field teams by preparing equipment for mobilization or demobilization

Occasionally assist with welding or fabrication work as needed
