They are seeking a Freelance Senior Linguist who will engage in translating and copy editing content in various subject matter areas, particularly in Marketing and Life Sciences, with a focus on Oromo language expertise.

Responsibilities
Translate and copy edit content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material, Marketing, Help and UI content
Utilize various CAT tools like XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling
Collaborate with the team on multiple accounts and programs
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material, Marketing, Help and UI content
Professional level understanding of English (US/GB)
Native level expertise of Oromo as Target Language with core understanding of cultural nuances
Candidate should be well versed with various CAT tools like- XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling etc
Working knowledge of MS office applications like MS Word, MS Excel
Preferred
Translation degree or, if other degree, 3 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience
