Responsibilities
Manage and implement the ecommerce payment system for united.com
Help team members with the technical aspects of their jobs, such as design and programming
Explain new projects to their team and work on an overall delivery approach, with appropriate technical measures
Identify risks, form contingency plans, and address these with technical solutions as applicable
Collaborate with other team members and functional teams to deliver best in class solutions
Guide & mentor the direct staff to both technical excellence and for people management
Develop a strategy for employee training & growth, and provide the required development opportunities
Conduct testing and integration testing for the entire system
Drive quality focused & sustainable deliverables
Support testing phases and ensure non-functional requirements are accounted for
Assist and guide the Project Lead/PM/BA in project strategy and execution, including requirements gathering, mapping requirements to technical specifications, technical designs, programming, code reviews, cutover strategy, and operational support
Own the communication between management and team, effectively communicate overall progress, risks, mitigations, and be the voice of the technical team
Make decisions to help solve technical challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or professional Degree
4+ years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in React, TypeScript, C#, and Node.js
2+ years of full cycle implementation experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should be able to collaborate with various teams
Proficient in web development using React, Redux, Redux sagas, ES6, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
Experience of various payment gateways and methods (Credit cards, Apple Pay, Paypal, Alipay, Pix, Flexpay and UnionPay)
Experience with industry standards and regulations for compliance (e.g., PCI DSS)
Strong experience implementing AWS/cloud technologies
Hands-on development and proficient excellence in backend API development using C# .Net in cloud
Strong experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
Strong experience building web applications with Micro frontend architecture
Strong experience in design patterns and enterprise standards in application design
Expertise in accessibility standards and implementation
Experience with unit testing
Preferred
Master's Degree
AWS or other Cloud Certifications
Experience in monitoring tools like Quantum Metrics and Dynatrace
