Responsibilities
Lead AI Engineering Delivery: Architect and deploy scalable AI systems (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, predictive models, fine-tuned LLMs) for mission-critical business challenges
Drive Strategic AI Interventions: Translate executive objectives into robust use cases and technical solutions that reimagine workflows and embed AI into core operations
Build and Mentor Teams: Stand up cross-functional pods of engineers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts; establish agile rhythms and accountability for business KPIs
Engage Executives: Partner with C-suite stakeholders to align on strategy, value creation targets, and execution plans
Institutionalize Best Practices: Capture lessons learned from deployments, develop reusable frameworks, and evaluate emerging technologies to keep solutions at the frontier of AI innovation
Qualification
Required
10–15+ years of software engineering and machine learning experience, with a proven record of deploying production AI systems at scale
Deep expertise in system architecture, data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Hands-on experience with AI/ML techniques including RAG frameworks, fine-tuned LLMs, reinforcement learning, and enterprise integrations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects and influence multiple stakeholders
Business acumen and executive presence, with the ability to connect engineering decisions to financial impact
Excellent communication skills for both technical and boardroom-level discussions
Preferred
Experience in forward-deployed technical leadership roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, CTO, Director of Engineering)
Background in private equity, venture capital, or high-growth startups
Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and risk frameworks
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
