Responsibilities
Provide routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
Assist with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating
Collect non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration)
Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed
Demonstrate flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the unit and across departments
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and help promote a collaborative work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required
BLS certification required immediately upon hire
Preferred
One-year experience as nursing assistant preferred
One-year patient care experience preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred
