Responsibilities
Oversee and review client engagements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards
Review work prepared by team members to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to firm and professional standards
Manage client relationships and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Oversee preparation of firm’s activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
Develop and document the firm’s internal accounting procedures
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
Qualification
Required
Proven management and supervisory skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
QuickBooks certified required
Working knowledge of payroll rules and processing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
Eight years or more of related experience required
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent preferred
