Florida Orthopaedic Institute is committed to providing world-class orthopedic care, and they are seeking an X-Ray Technologist to join their team. The Radiologic Technologist will provide quality patient care and perform digital x-ray exams while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform digital x-ray exams on patients to the level of FOIs productivity standards

Utilize collimation on every image and filtration when necessary

Follows all physician protocols

Ability to work both independently and as a team-player

Must be flexible with schedule

Document and maintain daily patient x-ray exams as required by the State of Florida rules and regulations

Maintain radiology injectables for special procedures

Assist physicians with Special procedures

Order supplies and equipment, ensuring all is kept at a minimum par level

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Maintain Florida License and ARRT License by adhering to CEU responsibilities

Complete Daily Totals Sheet

Initial Charge Tickets

Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute

All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Must be ARRT certified

Must have current Florida license

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience

Must display excellent customer services skills and the ability to multi-task

BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment
