Start in 2026 WinterThe Swedish American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (SACC Florida) is dedicated to promoting Swedish innovations and facilitating connections between American and Swedish companies. As a Finance and Business Development Intern, you will assist in financial operations and business development initiatives, supporting the Chamber’s activities and events.

Responsibilities
Promoting the Chamber and Chamber events
Assisting in membership program development
Provide general office administration
Assisting in recruiting new Chamber members
Organizing Chamber events, including coordinating volunteers for these
Attending Chamber specific networking events
Preparing board meetings
Day-to-day accounting activities, including but not limited to handling invoices, processing financial transactions, and reconciling accounts
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets. This involves analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform budgetary decisions
Collaborate with our treasurer to support Chamber financial management activities, which may include conducting financial analysis and preparing reports
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a university program or graduated within a relevant field of study
Higher education within business administration, finance, communication, or a relevant field
Swedish citizenship or strong ties to Sweden (for U.S. visa purposes)
Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, juggling various responsibilities simultaneously
Possess a strong, outgoing service-oriented mindset, understanding the importance of client satisfaction and relationship-building
Related work or extracurricular experience
Leadership and teamwork skills
Strong analytical skills
Interpersonal skills / conflict resolution skills
Driver's license
Preferred
Prior knowledge in accounting systems or communication
