Start in 2026 WinterThe Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles (SACC-LA) is looking for Marketing Manager Interns to support their mission of enhancing business opportunities between Swedish and American companies. As a Finance & Membership Success Marketing Manager Intern, you will handle accounting, manage membership relations, support sponsorship efforts, and assist in event organization.

Responsibilities
Handle the accounting (using Quickbooks) of SACC-LA, including events, membership dues, sponsor dues etc
Invoicing membership dues and following up on late payments
Handle bank accounts, debit cards and checkbooks, along with administrative duties
Together with the event coordinator create budgets for SACC-LA’s events to ensure profitability
Collaborate with the CFO to ensure a long-term financial strategy for SACC-LA
Prepare reports of current balance and other finance related information for board meetings
Keep a close relationship and serve SACC-LA’s existing members, as well as continuously extend the network by recruiting new members
Keep the membership database updated and manage the CRM system
Handle and build long-term sponsorship relationships with potential sponsors and negotiate sponsorship deals
Be responsible for monitoring and making sure sponsorship deals are followed through
Write short articles for SACC-LA’s weekly newsletter, with a focus on highlighting members
Proof-reading of articles together with the rest of the team
Support the team in creating and carrying out events together with SACC-LA members, partners and sponsors
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated and driven
Experience with accounting (using Quickbooks)
Ability to handle financial duties including invoicing and managing bank accounts
Strong communication skills in English
Experience in membership maintenance and recruitment
Ability to manage a CRM system
Experience in handling sponsorship relationships and negotiating deals
Strong writing skills for newsletter articles
Ability to support event creation and execution
