Responsibilities

Provides outpatient psychotherapy (family and individual therapy) and psychological/ neuropsychological testing
Works with clients ages 0-18 and their families
Possesses knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development
Experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests
May be assigned to work with specialty populations or across several clinic locations

Qualification

Doctoral Degree in PsychologyTexas License as PsychologistTraining in child growthExperience in pediatric settingCommitment to patient careCPR - BLS certificationInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsLeadership skills

Required

Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA accredited institution
Texas License as a Psychologist or Provisionally Licensed Psychologist
Training in child growth and development required
Maintains a current, valid Texas State License to practice psychology as a Licensed Psychologist or Provisionally Licensed Psychologist
CPR - BLS required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills
Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations practice

Preferred

Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care
Understanding of the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan
Prior experience in pediatric/adolescent setting preferred
