Responsibilities

Possess the required optimal technical knowledge of department equipment to assure appropriate and quality patient imaging of diagnostic value

Communicates exam procedure effectively to the patients so they can have a full understanding of their procedure and how it relates to their plan of care

Performs screening imaging procedures of acceptable quality to fulfill guidelines of the department

Works directly with patients to reduce anxieties and answers patient questions as needed

Actively participates in department meetings and collaborates with the Breast Center staff to continually innovate and improve services provided at the Breast Center

Maintains working knowledge of all imaging equipment used for Mammography to support the Breast Center service line

Ability to be at work and be on time

Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives

Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner

Ability to prioritize and multitask
