Responsibilities
Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families
Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions
Provide education on best practices
Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations
Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible
Qualification
Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
ANNC Board Certification
Ability to travel in Kentucky
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Strong patient assessment skills
Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
