Responsibilities

Answer phone calls, complete documentation, and filing to support medical staff at the facility

Complete and maintain medical records

Assist with admissions and the consent process for clients and provide ongoing support during medical appointments

Obtain vital signs and urine screens and document outcomes for medical team review

Complete lab requisitions on admission, monitor outcomes, and review with the medical team as needed

Create and distribute client packets

Maintain a safe physical environment for all clients

Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and effectively communicate and document changes to client status in charts and/or to the treatment team

Support prior authorization and medication ordering processes as needed

Schedule follow-up medical appointments and make external referrals for clients as directed by the medical team

Perform all other duties as assigned
