Psy D Clinical Psychologist

Ellie Mental Health is establishing a new group mental health practice in Federal Way and is looking for exceptional clinicians to join their founding team. The Psy D Clinical Psychologist will conduct psychiatric assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and manage clinical testing programs to improve client outcomes in collaboration with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis counseling, child & adolescent patients, and their families, as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management
Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations
Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation
Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Conduct a minimum of 25 client visits per week to be considered full-time and receive benefits

Required

Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the state of Washington
Have a clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship
Experience with completing psychological evaluations
Familiarity with working with/within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504 Process
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents on time
