Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of C&I projects across DER and energy efficiency portfolios
Translate business strategy into actionable operational plans that drive growth and profitability
Partner with executive leadership to refine delivery models, processes, and KPIs
Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of project delivery, installation, and commissioning
Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements
Implement best practices in project controls, risk management, and quality assurance
Manage budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocation to meet financial targets
Build and lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and field personnel as needed
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Mentor and develop staff to expand technical and leadership capabilities
Act as the senior point of contact for key C&I customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Offering & M&V teams to scope, design, and deliver tailored solutions
Build and maintain relationships with external contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities
Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten project delivery timelines
Monitor emerging technologies and market trends in DER, storage, and efficiency solutions
Contribute to business development and proposal strategies by providing operational expertise
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in energy, utilities, construction, or infrastructure delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior operations leadership role
Proven track record in delivering large-scale C&I energy projects (DER, energy efficiency, renewables, storage, solar PV, etc.)
Strong financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and P&L responsibility
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, health & safety compliance, and energy regulations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Energy Management, or related field
Master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or Energy Management
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Experience with smart grid, microgrids, EV infrastructure, and integrated energy solutions
Familiarity with performance contracting and energy services agreements (ESAs/PPAs)
