Responsibilities

Assists physicians with performance of invasive cardiac procedures, serving as a radiologic technologist and/or scrub assistant, performing hemodynamic monitoring and procedural charting
Assists in the care, transportation and preparation of patients

Qualification

Radiology principlesLicensed in RadiologyARRT RegistryCPR certificationGeneral computer knowledgeArrhythmia courseACLS certification

Required

High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of 2 years training in an approved school of radiologic technology required
General computer knowledge
Licensed in Radiology by the State of Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA)
Requires Registry from ARRT
CPR certification required

Preferred

Successful completion of EKG arrhythmia course preferred
Successful completion of ACLS preferred
