Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the CTO to define and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with overall business goals
Hands on leadership of technical teams developing advanced materials
Assist the CTO to drive technology roadmap planning, budgeting, and performance measurement
Support recruiting and development of technical talent fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Act as a key liaison between the technology department and executive leadership, presenting complex technical concepts in business terms
Represent Cambium’s technical vision to external stakeholders when needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or higher in a relevant subject
10+ years industry experience
Strong material science background
A deep technical understanding of polymer composites & adhesives
Must have experience in the developing and qualification of advanced materials in the aerospace industry
You must have a strong desire to learn and be willing to work in a hands-on role
Strong bias for action
Exceptional communication
Demonstrated leadership of technical teams
Due to the nature of the work, you must have US citizenship
Be a great teammate
This is an onsite role based in El Segundo, CA
