3+ years expGenoma Labs is seeking a highly skilled Advanced AI Design Engineer who excels in 3D design and generative AI methodologies. This role involves leading the development of 3D models and innovative product designs from initial concept through to final execution using advanced design software and tools.

Responsibilities
R&D on 3D models and components of PODS and new other products, ensuring that all designs transition smoothly from concept to final design to proto to manufacturing
Utilize Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper, Adobe Fusion, and robotic studio slicers to create, analyze, and modify designs, maintaining precision under pressure and tight deadlines
Collaborate closely with engineers and other designers to ensure designs are practical, feasible, and align with all specified technical requirements and regulations
Conduct extensive research to gather insights and inspiration, driving the innovation of new designs and the continuous improvement of existing ones
Effectively communicate complex design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and team members, ensuring clarity and vision alignment
Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive documentation and design files for all projects, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future referencing
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in design technology, incorporating cutting-edge practices and tools into the design process
Actively participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback on designs from other team members and incorporating feedback into your own work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in designing 3D models using CAD software
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360
Proficiency in Generative and Parametric design
Familiarity with engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with 3D printing and prototyping
Expert-level skills in using Adobe Fusion and Rhinoceros for 3D modeling
Proficiency in Grasshopper for AI-driven generative design
Familiarity with Python programming
Practical experience with 3D printing technologies
Preferred
Familiarity with 3D printing and prototyping is a plus
Portfolio of previous design work is a plus
