Human Resources Director
PSG is a global leader in pump and metering solutions, seeking a Human Resources Director to join their team. The HR Director will be responsible for executing HR strategy, managing union relations, and supporting the overall business objectives through talent management and employee relations.

Responsibilities
Serve as the site HR functional leader and provides strategic business support which aligns with HR best practices and company objectives
Collaborates with senior leadership to build the organizations’ goals and strategy related to talent, recruiting, and retention
HR leader in working with the union for grievance handling, bargaining, and chair for the union negotiations (5 year contract terms)
Manage the site’s HR function, ensuring accurate interpretation and administration of HR policies and programs and engages in the day- to-day Human Resources functions, specifically related to but not limited to employee relations, HR processes, rewards & recognition, talent management, and workforce planning
Handle and investigate grievances for site
Drive performance- based culture
Build and foster an effective working relationship with employees, supervisors, managers, leadership team, and HR Team
Assist in business development strategy and formulate local HR strategy in conjunction with VP-HR
Provide coaching, change management support, and guide managers and employees through action or influence to support career development, business decision making, and performance management
Manages the annual compensation cycle, talent and succession planning, location reporting, and other business support requirements
Overseas Human Resources budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements
Maintains collaborative partnerships with Global HR Team for effectiveness and may lead specialized projects and/or services
Alignment and achievement of company’s performance goals through team/leadership dynamics
Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
Other duties as required or directed by leadership
Qualification
Required
Minimum of bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Human Resources or similar discipline as Business Administration with a minimum of 8 years of progress HR experience
Worked in unionized manufacturing facility as the lead HR contact for bargaining, grievance handling and negotiations (mandatory)
Understanding of Federal labor law and compliance
Strong Business acumen
Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving and critical/analytical thinking skills; and organized with long-term outlook in any decision
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage a variety task to achieve results
Maintains a professional, collaborative demeanor in performing duties adhering to strict confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred
Preferred experience with SAP Success Factors
Preferred experience with ADP HRB and ADP Time & Attendance
Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks; strong attention to detail
