Mid LevelSigma Software Vertex is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their engineering team. The role involves developing, documenting, and executing hardware testing, collaborating with suppliers and design engineers, and conducting testing on prototypes and modules intended for vehicle use.
Responsibilities
Test Execution
Use oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other electrical/environmental test equipment
Develop test setups via block diagrams, BoMs and test plans
Test Infrastructure Development
Develop custom test assets such as load simulators, test harnessing and python scripts
Facilitate test infrastructure projects by working with procurement and suppliers
Documentation
Draft and present Test Plans, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Data Reviews
Review and consult on documentation release for standards, design, and risk assessments
Qualification
Required
Experience in developing, documenting and executing component and system-level hardware testing
Ability to collaborate with suppliers, design and system engineers
Experience in characterizing the functional performance of hardware
Experience in development testing on early prototypes
Experience in qualification testing on modules intended for vehicle use
Experience with interface compliance testing
Ability to develop purpose-built tools
Experience using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other electrical/environmental test equipment
Ability to develop test setups via block diagrams, BoMs and test plans
Experience in developing custom test assets such as load simulators, test harnessing and python scripts
Ability to facilitate test infrastructure projects by working with procurement and suppliers
Experience in drafting and presenting Test Plans, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Data Reviews
Ability to review and consult on documentation release for standards, design, and risk assessments
