Responsibilities
Promote and comply with all safety standards
Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
Support electrical and software design as needed
Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
Maintain customer relationships
Assist with electrical and software design when required
Start-up, debug and troubleshooting of PLC Controls automation equipment at the Build Shop and customer's site
Throughput enhancement at customer's site
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience as a Ford BIW Controls Start-Up Engineer
Must Have experience with Ford standards (Next Gen/ GVOSS)
Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering or programming field
Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
Extensive commissioning experience
Ability to travel to customer sites across North America and Canada
Valid passport and driver's license
Eligibility for a TN Visa
Preferred
Preferred knowledge of automotive body shop systems
Preferred hardware and software design capabilities
