Responsibilities
Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and reports
Translate technical concepts into accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and project teams to gather and verify content
Ensure compliance with DHS and federal documentation standards
Maintain version control and update documents as systems or requirements change
Support proposal, policy, and training material development as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, IT, or related field
2–5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation support
Strong editing, formatting, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint or Confluence preferred
Ability to manage multiple writing projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS suitability
