Responsibilities
Serve as the Data & Analytics Controls & Solutions Lead for complex data platform integration and migration initiatives, defining technical strategy and architecture
Lead the design of data migration strategies from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake
Provide technical guidance on designing target-state platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance
Implement cloud and data governance controls in platforms and integrated solutions
Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and reference architectures for the target-state design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, business stakeholders, and analytics/reporting groups—to define technical roadmaps, communicate progress, and proactively manage risks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's preferred)
10+ years of experience in technology design, architecture, or platform engineering
Strong hands-on expertise in Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP) and data-related services such as S3, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Dataiku, and Alteryx
Proven experience in migrating cloud and on-premise data platforms and warehouses to modern cloud ecosystems
Hands-on knowledge of implementing data and cloud governance controls within platforms
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to architect complex data solutions
Experience in building platform roadmaps and defining enterprise architecture strategies
Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively with business, risk, and technology stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead technical design and architecture discussions in high-stakes environments
