They are seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide Level 2 support for Windows and Linux servers, manage automated monitoring systems, and ensure service continuity for in-house and third-party applications.

Responsibilities
Be able to work in a globally distributed 24/7 L2 support team
Handle incidents, changes, requests, SMDB, problems, and other ITIL activities
Work with L3 to share recurring issues, root causes, flag risks and difficulties
Automate system and application monitoring via scripts within monitoring framework
Participate in and lead Technical Recovery Calls
Qualification
Required
Windows Server and Linux system administration
IP Networking (configuration and fixing): Understanding of firewalls, load balancers, proxy servers, and common network protocols
Scripting: Python, PowerShell, bash
Storage: Local and NAS, including SMB/CIFS, NFS, and iSCSI
Active Directory: Understanding of AD objects, including gMSA
Web server administration: IIS, Apache httpd
ITIL Framework: Incident, Change, Request, Configuration, and Problem Management
Preferred
Cloud DevOps on AWS and/or Azure
Understanding of market data services and mutual funds
Excellent written and verbal communication
