Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks
Manage Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) to track and remediate identified vulnerabilities
Ensure continuous compliance with Government (e.g., NIST, DoD) and industry standards
Perform oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security policies
Advise on Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization processes
Ensure proper training for cybersecurity personnel and maintain system authorization documentation
Develop and execute security assessment plans and incident response procedures
Coordinate configuration management and periodic security posture assessments
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
IAT Level III Certification per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.)
Two (2+) years of relevant analysis experience within an ISSM role
Strong knowledge of RMF, JSIG, and system lifecycle security integration
Preferred
DoD Secret Clearance
BA/BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
