This role involves leading the catering staff, ensuring excellent customer service during events, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support Director of Operations in executing major events by directing, managers, supervisors, as well as union and non-union employees

Preserve and execute excellent levels of internal and external customer service

Maintain a strong presence on the floor during events to oversee execution of plans and services

Work closely with clients before and during events to ensure their needs are met

Enforce food service sanitation and safety, food handling procedures

Coordinate with other departments including culinary, sales, operations, housekeeping, and any other division in order to solve problems and meet client expectations

Responsible for guiding and training food service managers

Work with managers and Scheduling Department regarding proper staffing levels for events

Participate in recruitment for union and non-union positions

Effectively manage and discipline employees in accordance with ASM Global policies and progressive discipline as out lined in appropriate CBA

Managing any conflicts or service issues with managers and employees
