Responsibilities
Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough areas
Apply fertilizer and manage portable sprinklers or hand-watering
Change cups on greens and move tee markers
Trim and rake sand traps and maintain golf ball washers
Rake leaves, cut weeds, and fell trees or branches as needed
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of sprinkler and drainage systems
Perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs on motorized and mechanical equipment
Perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 pounds, digging, and raking
Qualification
Required
Ability to work independently and become proficient in a variety of equipment operations and maintenance tasks within the first six months
Capable of recognizing and properly reacting to course maintenance situations and working efficiently around patrons within the first year
Authorized to make decisions under direction
