Responsibilities

Serve as a project task manager or perform as lead discipline (electrical and I&C) person on projects as appropriate
Scope and budget projects, identify method of project execution and coordinate staff assignments
Successfully manage and execute electrical design and be on time and on budget using company systems and tools
Support business opportunities and assist in sales and marketing efforts (proposal preparation, interviewing, scope, fee, etc.)
Mentor and possibly supervise other electrical and I&C engineers and designers
Perform contractor construction submittal reviews and Request For Information (RFI) documents and general electrical design activities for plant and pump station power systems
Producing effective and accurate written documents, reports, and technical memorandums
Collaborate with a national team of technical experts in the Electrical and I&C group
Ability to travel occasionally to project sites and for client meeting both locally and out of

Required

BS in Electrical Engineering
Professional registration
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer working for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater industries preferred
Experience in electrical power systems design and specifications, which include service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, grounding, power distribution and standby power equipment, and associated systems studies and calculations
Solid knowledge in the application of the National Electrical Code
Solid knowledge and understanding of electrical safety, NFPA 70E
Effective oral and written communication
Able to multi-task, be enthusiastic, be self-motivated, and work independently with a willingness to learn
Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented, take ownership of their work, and be able to work under tight and pressured deadlines from time to time

Preferred

Experience in electrical power systems design and specifications, which include service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, grounding, power distribution and standby power equipment, and associated systems studies and calculations
