Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals
Build and maintain trusted partnerships with hotel and client stakeholders
Oversee event sales and production processes to ensure flawless execution
Lead, mentor, and support property-level sales and production teams
Represent Five-Star’s standards of service excellence and hospitality

Required

Proven experience in customer service and relationship management, with a focus on driving client satisfaction and loyalty
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive research and client engagement
Skilled in active listening and understanding client needs, consistently following through to ensure satisfaction while achieving company goals
In-depth understanding of the local market, with the ability to handle objections and differentiate Five-Star's value from competitors
Consultative sales approach—able to align client needs with the right audiovisual solutions and act as a trusted advisor
Committed to professional growth and supporting the ongoing development of team members

Audio: Microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, and related components
Video: LCD, LED, projectors, screens, and monitors
Lighting: Décor and stage lighting, traditional and intelligent fixtures, and basic lighting kits
Computers: Proficient in both PC and Mac environments with advanced software knowledge

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 4 years of sales experience, ideally within the audiovisual, technology, or hospitality industries
