Responsibilities
The Invasive Cardiac Specialist-Radiologic Technologist demonstrates professional development and clinical competency
Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; applies knowledge of growth and development needs from adolescent through geriatric patients; assists with invasive procedures in the roles of hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing with physicians
Qualification
Required
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
State Radiology Technologist License Must obtain RAD within 12 months of hire if currently hold RADT, AND One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 18 months of hire
Preferred
One year in a cath lab
Cardiac Interventional Radiography OR Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography OR Vascular Interventional Radiography OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
