Pathways Internship:Student Support
The Universities of Wisconsin is seeking a Pathways Internship: Student Support position at UW-Stevens Point, aimed at providing a transformative experience for students focused on Indigenous equity and student well-being. The role involves collaborating with the Native American Center to support students in crisis, coordinate services, and promote NAC resources.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Build relationships with NAC students and offer peer-level check-ins and referrals
Promote and maintain awareness of NAC services and resources
Manage and monitor student sign-in kiosk and support data entry for tracking engagement
Schedule appointments for students through Navigate and maintain confidentiality
Co-develop and implement programming (crafting, outings, cultural enrichment)
Help maintain a clean, welcoming, relational environment aligned with Indigenous values
Qualification
Required
Current Students: If you are currently employed or enrolled as a student at any of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Workday to apply through the internal application process
Interest in social work, counseling, education, or Indigenous student advocacy
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Understanding of or willingness to learn about Indigenous cultural values and educational barriers
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
