Responsibilities
Build and refine statistical and machine learning models, including NLP and explainable AI approaches
Develop, tune, and deploy LLM systems, with strong preference for RAG-based solutions
Perform hands-on data engineering: cleaning, transforming, and building pipelines (SQL, Python)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into deployed products
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualification
Required
3+ years of applied research in ML or statistical modeling
2+ years developing and maintaining ML systems in production
1+ years working with LLM-based applications
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
Experience designing maintainable, high-quality codebases
Preferred
Experience mentoring and building collaborative data science teams
Exposure to agent-based generative AI frameworks
Background in healthcare data or hospital operations
Experience with Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, DBT, or similar platforms
Master's degree or equivalent professional experience
