They are seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer to manage and support various civil engineering projects, focusing on water, wastewater, and stormwater for local and government agencies.

Design

Responsibilities

Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
Work with a variety of projects for municipal client needs related to water, sewer and streets
Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations
Perform condition assessments
Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans
Manage projects and programs from inception to completion

Civil EngineeringFEPE CertificationAutoCADCivil3DIDOT project experienceMFT project experienceLocal agency project experienceManagement skillsCommunication skillsOrganization skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
2 – 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained
Experience with IDOT, MFT and local agency projects
Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation
Management, communication, and organization skills
