Sr. Manager - Quality Control & Quality Assurance

Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain the business unit's quality management processes
Develop best practices for in-line and final inspections, product testing, and reporting
Evaluate and improve all processes that impact product quality and customer satisfaction
Prepare and communicate quality performance reports to suppliers, internal teams, and executive management
Monitor and track annual Social Compliance audits for all vendors
Establish and maintain QA audit standards for new and existing suppliers—domestic and international
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, agents, and vendors to implement effective QA/QC protocols
Manage third-party lab testing programs (e.g., with Bureau Veritas), including test protocol development and execution
Act as subject matter expert on regulatory, legal, and compliance standards affecting product categories such as apparel, boots, accessories, jewelry, home goods, and FR (flame-resistant) workwear
Advise internal and external stakeholders on product improvements and technical solutions
Review and revise quality standards and policies to maintain compliance with industry regulations and evolving business needs
Oversee quality and compliance review during new vendor onboarding, ensuring completion of audits, certifications, and corrective action plans (CAPs)
Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices
Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management
Qualification
Required
At least 15 years of previous experience in a QC/QA Manager role with experience leading, managing, developing, and motivating external teams
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing related quality assurance methodologies and standards
Experience working with ANSI or other sampling tables
Working knowledge of ISO, ASTM, AATCC standards and test methods
Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, in a fast-paced environment, and meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
Strong analytical skills
Great attention to detail, results-driven approach
Must be extremely well organized, work well under pressure and be a strong problem solver
Self-motivated with strong initiative
Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
