Responsibilities
Individual will be tasked with working with our current staff on the development of designs and plans related to:
Design Plan Production that includes overall site layout of building locations, roads, and other site improvements
Site Grading & Access Road Development
Erosion & Sedimentation Control Design and Permitting
Post Construction Stormwater Management Design and Permitting
Land development design and permitting for zoning to meet federal, state, and local municipalities
Collaborate with staff engineers on multiple concurrent projects from planning, construction, and commissioning
Contribute to the evaluation and interpretation of environmental data
Assist senior staff in developing project documents such as work plans and reports
Participate in Kleinfelder’s Health and Safety program
Qualification
Required
B.S. in civil, environmental engineering, or related field
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate or obtain within one year of employment
0-3 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering field
Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3-D
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Erosion & Sedimentation Control Design Experience
Post Construction Stormwater Design Experience
Hydro flow stormwater modeling
Understanding of Land Development Processes
Understanding of Zoning Ordinance Review & Compliance
Familiar with GIS
Technical writing skills
